My Little Black Dress is named “Two Straps and a Hem” therefore; there is no photo, just a sketch.  I only got to wear it out one time.  Everyone loved it including my husband, so much that my husband said upon returning that evening that he would love to see me wear the dress as much as I would like to wear it, just not outside of our home.  That explains why there is only a sketch of me with my elbows across my chest, hands over my mouth saying, “Oh My”, and my knees crossed.  The black and white however does not show the pink cheeks. I love your blog!

Where would we be without the classic LBD? In 1926 Vogue magazine introduced Coco Chanel’s Little Black Dress. The LBD became a necessity for French women instantly and soon women the world over were dependent on it as the anchor to their wardrobes.
